Michael Wagner has a unique and varied experience in education, working with students for more than 20 years in the United States, China, Cambodia, and Ethiopia. Prior to his work in education, Mike worked in the financial services industry holding a variety of banking positions including Vice President and Branch Manager.
Mike earned his Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from California State University Northridge, California, USA and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Northern Iowa, USA. Mike also earned college counseling certification through the University of San Diego Extended Studies Program. In addition, he holds a principal certification in the state of Arizona.
Mike has an enthusiastic spirit and a true passion for making a difference in the lives of young adults. He has worked extensively with high school students to place them in colleges and universities around the world. Mike understands the challenges students and families face and enjoys guiding them through the college application process. Mike has helped hundreds of students develop their unique stories to find the right college and career pathway.
Mike is the author of the personal finance book Your Money Day One: How to Start Right and End Rich. In 2015, he was chosen in 2015 as one of the Top 100 Leaders for the John C. Maxwell Transformational Leadership Award. Mike's other interests include traveling and coaching volleyball and basketball.
