Dr. Ann Wagner has more than 20 years of experience in the United States, China, Ethiopia, and Cambodia in K-12 educational administration, including six years as a school head. She holds a principal certification in the U.S. states of North Carolina, Arizona, and Maryland.
Ann earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at the University of New England and has spoken on the outcomes of her dissertation research on multiple continents. Dr. Wagner has experience with the International Baccalaureate (IB) MYP and DP programs, IGCSE and AP curricula, and US Common Core and has taught a wide variety of classes over the years including IBDP English B and AP Studio Art.
Currently, Dr. Wagner leads The Banner School in Frederick, Maryland, USA. She is also an adjunct instructor with the University of the People, teaching graduate-level courses for the Master of Education in Advanced Teaching program and working with educators around the globe.
Ann loves to travel and has felt privileged to live in different parts of the world, stating that each place brings new adventures and a greater understanding of humanity. A lifelong learner, Ann recently completed a creative writing certificate at UCLA and working on a novel.
