It is hard to believe that the end of the school year is upon us. For many, it has been another tumultuous and challenging school year and I am sure that this will be a welcomed summer holiday break. We can only hope that during this transition a new and better school year, our new normal, is on the horizon.

The power of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
In 2015 the United Nations General Assembly designed a set of 17 goals called the Sustainable Development Goals. The purpose of these goals is to provide a better future for the world, focused on the sustainability of the future for all mankind. However, as reported in University World News by reporter Yee Teng Low, students worldwide do not have a clear understanding of the SDGs and their application.

cannot underestimate their power to tackle SDGs
The Class of 2022: Ready to move on
High school graduations are in full swing, and the graduating class of 2022 is in many ways looking forward to putting the past three years behind them. There is no doubt that this class of students has been through a lot during the pandemic including facing the countless challenges of distance learning, a learning style that was mostly new to everyone. Learning about $$$$
I have mentioned in previous newsletters my passion for teaching young adults about money. It is one topic that no matter a person’s age, they always wish they had known more sooner. In this article for Entrepreneur, Melissa Won discusses ways for teens to learn about money.
Ten strategies to guide teens about money
Do we ever have enough time? Given the last two years, there may be no better time to reevaluate our schedules and find time for the stress relief of a hobby. NPR freelance writer and podcast host Nichole Perkins explores the ways to begin to find a good one.
Having a hobby is good for you. Here's how to find one
Growing up as an athlete and participating in sports has been a large part of my life since the fourth grade. Sports teach us many life lessons, and I learned early on the most important trait was to hustle.
I could not think of a more fitting way to share the tip of the week other than to reference one of the greatest college basketball coaches of all time, John Wooden. (For those that may not be familiar with Coach Wooden, click here to read more from Success Magazine). Coach Wooden explains the theory behind this important life skill and what it means to hustle, as told by his grandson-in-law, Craig Impelman.
Why you should embrace the hustle
Over the past few weeks, I have been sharing videos of commencement speeches highlighting the achievements of the graduates of 2022. I found it appropriate that today I would offer some solace of relaxation and a sense of calm. I think we can learn from the carefree style exhibited in this video. Sit back, relax, and breathe. Enjoy!
Have a wonderful week.
